Services to be rendered:
Promotion of Legal Literacy including Civic Education (LL&CE)

I. As Councilors of Executive Council for Legal Literacy:
i) Assemble at least once in a month in duly convened Assembly
by the Board, to
ii) (including, but not limited to), formulate, plan and implement

the Projects, Programs or Works of Citizen Force within the
province of their Executive Council with the concurrence of
Governing Council/Board and advice on any matter related to
LL&CE to the Chapters constituted through the said Council.

II. As Primary Volunteers of Citizen Force:
i) To make citizens aware of their fundamental duties, and other
legal obligations viz.,

a) To abide by the Constitution and respect the National Flag
and the National Anthem
b) To uphold and protect the sovereignty, unity and integrity
of India;
c) To renounce practices derogatory to the dignity of women;
d) To promote harmony and the spirit of common
brotherhood amongst all people of India and other Nations
transcending religious, linguistic and regional or sectional
diversities;
e) To defend the country and render national service when
called upon to do so;
f) To safeguard public property and to abjure violence;
g) To strive towards excellence in all spheres of individual and Page 2 of 5

higher levels of endeavour and achievement;
