Mr. V. Uma Maheshwar is currently an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering Dept., University College of Engineering (Autonomous), Osmania University, Hyderabad. He currently holds the unique record of being the longest serving Placement Officer of University College of Engineering (Autonomous), Osmania University, Hyderabad from 2005 onwards till date. He is an alumni of OUCE having obtained his Bachelor & Master Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from OUCE. He joined Teaching profession in 1997 after working for industries and corporate for 5 years. He has been in the academics for 18 years till date. He has five years of industrial experience having worked in several organizations namely Mahindra & Mahindra R&D, Nashik, Renewable Energy Systems Ltd., Hyderabad and HSOP Pvt. Ltd, Hyderabad in several functional areas like R&D, Design and Development, Production, Marketing and Quality Management systems.
As Placement and Training Officer of University College of Engineering (Autonomous), Osmania University, Hyderabad, he is well known in Industry and Engineering Colleges. He is the pioneer in initiating an unique Campus Hiring -Day One sharing model called Premium Company Recruitment drive (PCRD) at OUCE from 2009 onwards which was designed to benefit both the recruiting companies as well as students. The same model is being followed by other Engineering Colleges in India later on. He offers Career Guidance to students of Engineering as well as non engineering courses in Osmania University. He has facilitated the recruitment of over 5100 candidates till date through conduct of on campus as well as off campus recruitment drives. He was selected among "Top 10 Professors of AP who made the most impact on Students lives" by “24X7 Customer” Organization through online survey conducted among students of AP and was felicitated by the Secretary, Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education on 14th October, 2008.
A Research Project on “Development and Testing of Small Wind Turbine Electrical Pump Systems” sponsored by Non Conventional Energy Sources, Govt. of India was undertaken by him during 2000-2001. He Coordinated ISO 9001 Certification of R&D Centre, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. during June 1997 by TUV – Germany and ISO 9001 Certification of University College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad during October 2000 by TUV – India, making it the first Engineering College of Andhra Pradesh to get such Certification.
He has also to his credit several International and National Journal and Conference Publications. He has organized three international conferences, one national conference, 32 training workshops for faculty /students till date. His technical areas of interests include Thermal Engineering, Turbomachinery, Renewable Energy Technologies, and Quality Management Systems etc.,
He is the mentor for Student’s Voluntary NGO groups at the College Namely Spruha and Youva who helps village schools and supports a home for destitute women/women saved from Human Trafficking. He is a patron for Orphanage at Nacharam in Hyderabad which provides shelter for about 28 orphan children giving free food & clothing apart from financing their educational expenses from schooling to graduation.
Ms. Suchona Swastica, M.Sc (Nematology), presently works as Horticulture Officer in Government of Odisha at Bhubaneswar and Specializes in Sustainable Agriculture. She did certificate course on GIS applications with emphasis on “Soil Erosion Control” from Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, Dehradun during 1999. She was selected by Government of India as a delegate to visit Japan as an Agriculture professional during 2004. She also did PG Diploma in “Extension Management” from MANAGE, Hyderabad during 2013 and currently pursuing PhD in Plant Pathology at The Veer Vahadur Singh Purbanchal University, Jaunpur, UP.
Ms. Swastica has joined Govt of Odisha in Agriculture Department during December 1995 under Directorate of Soil Conservation. Later she has joined Directorate of Horticulture under Agriculture Department of Govt of Odisha during the year 2000.
During her tenure as Asst Horticulture Officer from 2000 to 2015, she was actively involved in Extension and monitoring of different Central and State Govt schemes, ATMA programmes etc. She has contributed greatly towards establishment of Deras Horticulture Farm at Mendhasal in the outskirt of Bhubaneswar which has been declared as Centre of Excellence by the Govt of India. Under her able supervision 20 hectares of plantation could be made in the Farm with different varieties of fruit saplings during 2007 and 2008 with development of irrigation facility and other infra-structural developments in the Farm.
Under her supervision and monitoring, people of Garia village in district Khurda; a highly water-logged village could able to become economically sustainable through cultivation of Plantain Banana variety Bantal. She has introduced the concept of “Protected Cultivation” in the hilly areas of Nayagarh district through cultivation of high-value vegetables inside shadenet houses. Also she has guided the farmers of Nayagarh district to cover 1000 hectares of fruit area under Organic farming and the idea now has spread to other areas of the district. At present she is associated with Institute of Management and Agricultural Extension, Bhubaneswar.
Citizen Force Board has nominated her as Zonal Head – Women Empowerment - for the States of Odisha and Chhattisgarh.

VVLN. Murthy is a Graduate in Architecture from College of Fine Arts and Architecture from JNT. University, Hyderabad. He worked for some time at J.J. Associates, Consulting Architects, Visakapatnam in 1977-78, and then joined as Lecturer in Architecture In Govt. Polytechnic, Kakinada under the Department of Technical Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.
He served in the Department in teaching in different capacities as Lecturer, Head of the Department and Principal in different Polytechnics in Andhra Pradesh for about 34 years and retired in the year 2012.
His Articles were published in the National Journal of Indian Institute of Architects. He designed and constructed some residential buildings, Theatres and Nursing Homes in East Godavari District. He has at his credit the manual color rendered Perspective drawings.
Five of his Books in History of International Architecture were published and are being used in Architecture colleges in India and abroad.
He also wrote the Books on Inspiration, Ideal Living, Religion and Spirituality, which were published.
Dr. G S N Murty, Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, presently Head of the Department, Computer Science and Engineering, Aditya Institute of Technology and Management (Autonomous), Tekkali, Andhra Pradesh. He received his Master’s degree from JNTUK Kakinada and Ph.D. from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur.
Dr. G S N Murty has published about 20 papers in International Journals with good impact factor and Scopus indexed. He has also presented papers in International Conferences. He is supervising one PhD scholar under JNTUK. He was invited by various colleges as a Resource Person to deliver a talk in workshops and faculty development programs. He was acted as a Judge for various CSI conventions held Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam etc.,
He was convener for various faculty development programs and workshops. He acted as a Reviewer of International Conference ICECIT-2015 held during 20-21 December 2015 at SRIT- Ananthapur and International Conference on Information Processing ICIP-2015 held during 16-19 December 2015 at VIT – Pune.
He was the Chairman of Boards of Studies and Member of Academic Council for AITAM.
Dr. Rupa. Ch was received her B. Tech Degree from JNTU, Hyderabad and done her M.Tech (IT), and Ph. D at Andhra University. Currently She is working as Professor, at V. R. Siddhartha Engineering College (A), Vijayawada. Dr. Rupa was in the teaching profession for the past 12 years. She is always willing to take up new responsibilities and can go beyond what is required. Dr. Rupa is very passionate about teaching and research.
Dr. Rupa presented her work in several national and international conferences and published in many journals. She was received many awards from various reputed organizations like Young Engineer awards from Institute of Engineers of India (IE(I) once at National level and again at State level) and also from JNT University, Kakinada. Dr. Rupa got Computer Discipline award from National Congress Since 2011 to 2015 continuously. She was the member of board of studies to NEC (A).
She delivered number of guest lectures in the workshops, FDPs, Seminars, Conferences as a key note speaker in national and international events. She was also invited by Global Research and Development Society, Linton University, Malaysia as a Key note speaker for its 12th Int. Conf.
