CITIZEN FORCE CANCER TREATMENT FINANCIAL AID PROGRAM

ONE FOR ALL - ALL FOR ONE

Many cancer patients and their familites in India struggle to afford treatment, which can be life- threatening. To address this issue, the Citizen Force Cancer Treatment Financial Aid program facilitates financial assistance to eligible cancer patients across India. This initiative is part of the Community Health Promotion Project and aims to transform the lives of thousands of cancer patients under the Citizen Force's Motto “One For All - All For One”.


The following is an attempt to briefly explain the eligibility and the extent of assistance available. More details will be updated from time to time on the Citizen Force Cancer Club App.


Sanction Criteria for Treatment cost:

  1. Initial Financial Aid: Up to Rs 15 lakh (Rs 20 lakh for Bone Marrow Transplant).
  2. Treatment protocol: Covers chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, supportive care, and prosthesis.
  3. Cost of Treatment protocol: Shall be as approved by the Specialist Doctors in the Panel of Citizen Force.

Key Features:

  1. Facilitating financial support for cancer treatment: Eligible patients receive support for financial aid for treatment.
  2. Pan-India coverage: The program is implemented nationwide.
  3. Priority to cancer and rare diseases: Initially, the program focuses on cancer and rare diseases, while other diseases will be considered later based on resource availability.

Motto:

The program is guided by the motto "One For All - All For One," emphasizing collective support for those in need.



Eligibility

  1. Family income: Average family income should not exceed Rs 1 lakh per month (However, this limit may be relaxed on a case-to-case basis).
  2. Treatment at empanelled hospitals: Patients should receive treatment in hospitals recognized by Citizen Force.
  3. Exhaust insurance and government benefits: Patients must first utilize all available insurance and government scheme benefits.
  4. Citizenship and registration: Patients must be Indian citizens registered in Citizen Force Cancer Club at least six months prior to diagnosis.
  5. Community participation: Registrants should be in the status of active compliant i.e., actively participate in community benefit programs, medical relief programs, and public utility programs organized by Citizen Force or its partner non-profit organizations to continue to be eligible for cancer treatment financial aid under the Motto "One For All - All For One".

Children Education & Other Needs:

In case of death of poor patients, and in such families, if there are students who are studying degree or other technical courses and not receiving fee reimbursement from governments, and facing difficulties to pay tuition fee, Citizen Force puts every effort to identify donors who can support the education of poor students till they complete their education.


Female Children Protection: In case of death of poor patients after prolonged use of medicines/undergoing treatment, if there are female children in their family, Citizen Force puts every effort to see that these female children are educated at least up to degree level and settled i.e., may facilitate for the adoption of their education and marriage needs by generous donors.


Earn while learning:

After Plus 2, children will receive training to earn while learning.


Aims of Children Programs:

These Children programs aim to support vulnerable children, ensuring that they receive necessary care and support while minimizing the risk of anti-social behaviour that may arise from poverty, lack of affection, and inadequate supervision.
